The team is growing and transforming, and we are looking for highly qualified and talented people to accompany us as the organization grows, and the Analyst, Financial Controls will play an important role in this. They will work in an interesting and complex environment in a multinational public company based in Montreal, Quebec working with colleagues at all levels from all geographic regions in the organization. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Controls and Governance, the Analyst will support the certification process and the review of user access to systems. In addition, the analyst will be involved in the annual Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) validation program, including documentation, training and testing of controls. They will work closely with the various business units, corporate functions and Internal Audit. The analyst must enjoy working in an active environment with non-routine and changing tasks. This role supports both remediation of deficiencies and improvement projects. They will work on various tasks with a goal of optimizing the control environment. Your role Participate and manage the quarterly financial statement sub certification process across the Company. Participate in the user access review process for business systems. Assist the team in following up on deficiencies identified duringICFR mandates. Assist management in resolving deficiencies and improving the control environment. Assist the team in providing training to business units and corporate functions on financial policies, processes, risks and controls. Participate in special projects with different teams (IT, Internal Audit, Transformation team) to improve the finance function. Assist the team in leveraging data analytics to support control monitoring, identify trends, and enhance the effectiveness of ICFR and other governance activities. About you Professional accounting designation (CPA) or in process. 1-3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the operations of a large company acquired through experience in consulting or industry a plus. Ability to use data analytics and AI tools (e.g., Excel, IDEA, Copilot, or similar) is an asset. Strong skills in Office Suite is a plus. Knowledge of National Instrument 52-109 or SOX is an asset. Team player, autonomous, meticulous, rigorous and responsible. Results oriented, ability to manage potentially difficult situations and tight deadlines. Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with people at all levels. Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
