Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other related field
- 2+ years of investment banking, equity research or similar analytically-rigorous financial role
- Exceptional intellectual curiosity with proven capability to develop a point of view from complex and often ambiguous information
- Experience in reading and analyzing complex financial statements
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Prepare analyses across market and competitive landscape to identify emerging trends and macroeconomic conditions impacting PJT’s businesses
- Maintain materials summarizing peer financials, valuation metrics, acquisitions, and other recent initiatives to help contextualize PJT’s relative positioning
- Partner with the Investor Relations function on articulating key investor thematics and insights to management
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with peer-related analytics
- Assist with various strategic initiatives
