Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution, transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Experience within retail, national distribution, or transportation/logistics service providers.
- Strong understanding of final mile delivery operations, LTL transportation, or bulky goods logistics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge processes and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple business functions and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional and multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze estimated versus actual shipping costs to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Produce reports and insights to optimize final mile delivery models and logistics flows.
- Investigate operational issues or anomalies, recommend solutions, and support corrective actions when needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert and internal resource for logistics flow processes and operational support teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, cost control, and customer experience through data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including Supply Chain, Merchandining, and external carrier partners.
- Develop, maintain, and improve analytical and decision-support tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics operations and supply chain performance.
- Produce ad hoc analyses and recommendations for leadership teams.
