The L2 Analyst is the primary liaison between field locations, headquarters, FAA, Envoy and AA in the area of Airport Services policies and procedures. Each Analyst is assigned specific areas of the operation where they will be subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business, or related technical field or two years of relevant job experience
  • Operational experience in areas related to an Envoy hub or field operation
  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel extensively with short notice (50% travel expected)
  • Working knowledge of the Station Operating Manual, EGOM and Audit Controls
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Candidates must fulfill a fingerprint based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Candidates must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
  • This position may be subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT). Federal law requires Envoy to determine a candidate’s history with the DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations, exposure to Weight and Balance, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Baggage performance and Deicing programs
  • Prior experience in airline management
  • Prior experience working with regulatory agencies (FAA, DOD, IOSA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct station observations to monitor compliance with various regulations and audit controls
  • Participates investigations and safety risk assessments
  • Work closely with airport leadership to provide support and evaluate changes to policies and procedures
  • Must be able to interact with regulatory agencies (FAA, DOD, IOSA, etc.) to ensure programs meet all applicable FAR's
  • Lead and/or own many of the day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects including providing support for other analysts
  • Collaborate with other work groups within Envoy to strategize initiative implementation and continued compliance
  • Participate in developing and administering company policy, manuals, and initiatives
  • Maintain company compliance with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration
