About The Position

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group at TD Securities is hiring for analyst positions. TD Securities is a leading advisor and underwriter in the global equity capital markets. The ECM team partners closely with investment banking coverage, sales and trading, and equity research to advise corporate clients on equity financings, equity-linked transactions, market positioning, and investor engagement across all market cycles. ECM Products include initial public offerings (IPOs), follow‑on and secondary offerings, private placements, at‑the‑market transactions, convertible and equity‑linked securities, structured equity solutions, and related equity derivatives. Capital markets is a hybrid job that intersects the transaction-oriented nature of banking and the market-facing aspects of sales and trading. These roles combine the technical, client-focused and project-based work found in banking, with the fast-paced, market-driven environment of a sales and trading desk. We sit at the heart of the organization, between investment banking coverage, sales and trading, and equity research. The role is dynamic, with each day different than the day before depending on news flow, market conditions, and macro events. Our flat organization and highly collegial structure has analysts sitting on trading-style desks adjacent senior bankers to foster learning, client interaction, and relationship building. Lean deal teams allow each member to do real work and gain meaningful client exposure from origination through execution. You will play an integral role in the deal cycle from beginning to end including ownership of pitches, deal documentation, sales memos, marketing, due diligence, execution, and pricing.
