About The Position

This role exists within the Enterprise Sourcing team within Finance & Administration and reports to the Manager of Enterprise Sourcing. The Sourcing Analyst will engage in category management and supplier contract review functions. Specifically, the Sourcing Analyst is tasked with supporting department leads to manage their supplier complement; categories may include professional services, corporate services, operations, information technology and hardware, finance, human resources, research, and marketing. To be successful, the Sourcing Analyst must be able to review, draft, red-line, negotiate and advise on various supplier agreements, including NDAs, MSAs and SOWs and should be comfortable leveraging internal documents as well as reacting to supplier-provided agreements. The Sourcing Analyst should also have an understanding of procurement based principles, such as cost savings/avoidance strategies, deepening supplier relationships, cost of living increases, discount strategies, days to pay and service levels. This role has the opportunity to work as part of a well-respected group with global reach and the ideal candidate will be based out of Boston or Needham.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of vendor contracting experience (Licensed Attorneys preferred, but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse contract negotiations (Data Privacy, Artificial Intelligence and understanding of Financial Services preferred, but not required)
  • Proven track records when rated against KPIs such as COLA caps, Cost Savings, Days to Pay
  • Proficient with Procurement Orchestration Software, MS Office Suite, Workday, Benchmarking Software and Docusign. Comfortable leveraging AI a plus
  • Self-motivated; works well independently and capable of taking initiative without prompting
  • Excellent written/editorial and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/contracts simultaneously while delivering superior customer service
  • Managed multiple categories or programs simultaneously and has understanding of business practices in the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions
  • Understanding of Compliance related requirements for Financial Services Firms in different regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Third Party Risk Management programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, evaluating, and negotiating supplier agreements, including but not limited to MSAs, SaaS, NDA, SOW, DPA, SLA, to name a few.
  • Managing renewals, work orders, terminations and extensions
  • Leading, reviewing and analyzing RFIs/RFPs as required
  • Data analytics linked to strategic category management, including benchmarking activities
  • Recommending and contributing to projects/process improvement initiatives
