About The Position

The Analyst, Engineering Programs & Analytics supports Newell Brands' Engineering, Reliability & Automation (ERA) organization by providing analytical, project coordination, reporting, and business support across multiple engineering and automation programs. This role is designed as an Associate / P1-level analyst role and will serve as a shared capability resource across the ERA portfolio. The role will primarily support the Resource Conservation and Sustainability Pillar and Facilities Engineering and Site Resiliency Pillar of ERA. This position is intended for an early-career analyst with strong organization, analytical, communication, and project management skills who is interested in manufacturing, engineering, automation, sustainability, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline required.
• 0-2 years of experience in analytics, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, project coordination, continuous improvement, or related work preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Ability to organize complex information, summarize key insights, and build clear leader-ready materials.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Interest in resource conservation and sustainability, manufacturing, engineering programs, development, facilities engineering, automation, and digital tools.
• Comfortable working across functions, sites, and regions reporting to senior leaders and project owners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, track details accurately, and adapt as business needs change.

Nice To Haves

• experience, Microsoft Planner, AI tools, or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update dashboards, scorecards, trackers, and reports supporting ERA programs and leadership reviews.
• Gather, organize, and validate project data from engineering, automation, manufacturing, operations, and cross-functional partners.
• Track project milestones, action items, risks, deliverables, and benefits across multiple active workstreams.
• Prepare PowerPoint slides, Excel analyses, summary reports, and other materials for project reviews, steering meetings, and leader updates.
• Help maintain a consistent operating cadence across assigned initiatives by documenting decisions, owners, and next steps.
• Coordinate meeting agendas, action logs, project updates, document libraries, and follow-up activities for assigned workstreams.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, project folders, trackers, and source documents so information is organized and easy to access.
• Use Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planner, Smartsheet, Data Bricks, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, insights, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of project management routines, dashboard structure, and documentation standards.
• Assist with special projects supporting engineering standards, automation, AI enablement, reliability, and broader ERA program execution as needed.
• Support Resource Conservation initiatives by tracking project opportunities, savings inputs, implementation status, and action plans.
• Assist with reporting and analysis tied to energy, utility, equipment efficiency, sustainability, and resource optimization projects.
• Collect and organize site inputs needed for business cases, ROI summaries, prioritization reviews, and leadership updates.
• Maintain project repositories, trackers, and dashboards that provide visibility to project benefits and execution progress.
• Support cross-functional coordination with site teams, engineering, finance, procurement, and external partners as needed.
• Support Facilities Engineering and Site Resiliency initiatives by maintaining project trackers, site inputs, action logs, and leadership-ready updates.
• Assist with reporting and documentation tied to facility infrastructure, site readiness, resiliency planning, risk mitigation, and critical project execution.
• Collect and organize inputs from site teams, engineering, operations, safety, finance, procurement, and external partners to support prioritization and project visibility.
• Help prepare business case materials, project summaries, risk updates, and implementation status reports for facilities-related initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and dashboards that provide clear visibility to site resiliency priorities, project progress, owners, and next steps.
