About The Position

This is an 8-month term, non-payroll contractor position supporting the Digital Health Strategy & Analytics team. The role focuses on product analytics and web analytics to support the Digital Health business. The analyst will examine large datasets to find actionable insights that will help drive patient acquisition, improve retention, and enhance patient engagement across the digital health ecosystem, including Shoppers Drug Mart and PC Health. Key responsibilities include building dashboards, developing reports, and uncovering insights to inform product and business strategies. The role involves collaborating with Marketing and Product Managers to track performance, forecast, and provide data-driven recommendations. The analyst will also explore patient behaviors, digital engagement trends, and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities and improve patient experiences. This role directly influences the evolution of the omnichannel experience and the delivery of health solutions to Canadians.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a management consulting, analytics, E-Commerce, or high growth technology company with strong business acumen.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficient experience in SQL and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a high capacity and deal with ambiguity, maintain focus while working on multiple complex projects independently.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate/story tell findings to all levels throughout the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in web analytics tools such as Snowplow Analytics, Google Analytics or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as LookerML, Data Studio or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing additional data analysis tools such as Python or RStudio.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes & tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced analytics toolkit (SQL, Python/R, Snowplow Analytics) to uncover actionable insights and deliver strategic recommendations that shape marketing and product strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests by extracting, analyzing, and uncovering insights through complex datasets (e.g., patient behavior data, web analytics data, refill data, customer feedback data) by working across Product, Tech, and other business partners.
  • Build reporting and analytics to better understand patient journeys and on-site/in-app engagement to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns to uncover insights, optimize performance, and improve targeting.
  • Enhance data accuracy and develop workflow automations by partnering with BI and Digital Implementation teams.
  • Translate ambiguous data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
