About The Position
AIG is seeking an Analyst for the Data Office department as part of their Early Careers program. This role offers opportunities to learn and grow skills and experience in data and analytics. The Data Office provides transformational services to drive business outcomes, support data curation, and enable analytics capabilities across the organization to achieve profitable growth, reduce costs, improve customer experience, empower employees, reduce operational risk, and meet regulatory requirements. The Early Careers program is designed to equip participants with learning experiences and skills for career launch, including on-the-job training, instructor-led masterclasses, exposure to senior leaders, mentoring, networking, and volunteering. The Data Analyst Program (DOAP) is a 24-month rotation program with three 8-month rotations focused on Technical Foundations, Data Management and Governance, and Business Insights. Participants will graduate into a full-time role within the Data Office. Rotations include Business Data Analysis, Business Intelligence Delivery, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Data Management and Governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript required upon application) in a STEM major or with STEM coursework learned in associated majors.
- Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027.
- Analyst positions are in-person opportunities, requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with business partners to understand business needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data to deliver digestible insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop insightful and fit-for-purpose reporting and visualizations, leveraging a broad spectrum of business intelligence and analytics tools.
- Participate in and support the design and delivery, including analysis, data profiling, data model design, ontology design of reference and data architecture components that preserve and enhance the value and utility of company data.
- Leverage modern, cloud-based technologies to develop data pipelines that collect, manage, and transform raw data into usable information for business analysis, data science and other analytic use cases. With adherence to all code/data quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Support the oversight and alignment of roles, responsibilities, processes, policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective use of information throughout its entire lifecycle, from creation to disposition.
