About The Position

As an Analyst, Data Management Operations, you will be responsible for supporting and validating the integrity of risk data through the execution of controls, ensuring data quality and managing data access requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation around processes along with constantly re-evaluating the efficiency of the task and suggesting process improvements to continually streamline work.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary certification and/or 1+ years of experience in an operational environment with knowledge of data analysis methods.
  • Ability to drive efficiencies in an environment where accurate execution of processes and controls is crucial.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex data related issues.
  • Ability to understand the importance of data quality and integrity.
  • Strong skills in decision-making, analysis of data and information.

Responsibilities

  • Support the BAU process and assist in the identification of control gaps.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes and procedures
  • Produce daily operational deliverables in line with service level agreements
  • Execution of controls to validate integrity of data (e.g. record counts, file content); assist with monitoring of daily exception reports and associated remedial actions
  • In partnership with other team members, resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely execution and processing of risk data for report production
  • Identify and analyze data quality issues and resolve in a timely manner
  • Apply critical thought to existing tools, controls and processes; make recommendations and test solutions
  • Generate reporting for enterprise-wide activities
