About The Position
The Corporate Development Analyst supports Volta's strategic initiatives, including fundraising, M&A, and partnership evaluation. This role works closely with senior leadership to analyze market opportunities, build financial models, and support the execution of strategic transactions that shape Volta's growth.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis tools a plus
- Interest in AI infrastructure, data centers, or energy markets
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Support due diligence processes for M&A, financings, and partnership opportunities
- Prepare materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership discussions
- Track and analyze industry trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy markets
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and business teams to gather data and support transaction execution
- Assist with post-transaction integration and performance tracking
- Support ad hoc strategic analyses requested by senior leadership
