Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, the Corporate Development Analyst will be responsible for supporting various workstreams throughout the transaction lifecycle from sourcing to post-closing activities.The role involves close collaboration with colleagues across the corporate development team, business units, and corporate functions to develop business cases, construct financial models, and facilitate internal decision-making, due diligence, and integration strategies. Additionally, the Analyst will partner with the Director of Enterprise Strategy on select initiatives related to identifying and assessing both organic and inorganic growth opportunities. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of investment banking or transaction advisory experience, demonstrating success in high velocity environments with exposure and familiarity with the entire deal process (can be satisfied via internships or employment)
  • Highly analytical with strong financial modeling skills, including financial statement construction, reformulation and analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, necessary for the creation of both visually and verbally engaging reports, reviews, and recommendations for senior M&A management and collaborating personnel
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, with the ability to manage high volume of deliverables, multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills in creating reports, presentations and reviews for the M&A, strategy and transformation teams
  • Experience with data tools such as Pitchbook, FactSet, CapIQ, and various data room platforms

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end transaction process, including business case development, due diligence, post-closing integration activities, and reporting
  • Assist in all aspects of analysis and financial modeling (including scenario analysis, synergies and valuation), in partnership with colleagues from across business units and corporate functions (finance, tax, etc.)
  • Conduct landscape/target analysis and present findings/insights to the M&A, strategy, and transformation teams
  • Develop and prepare materials tailored to the needs of the targeted internal audiences
