About The Position

The Analyst in Corporate Banking provides specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of marketing and execution activities. Conducts research and on-going analysis, prepares supporting documentation, and assists in due diligence efforts on transactions. We are considering candidates interested in joining the Corporate Banking team based in New York, NY as part of TD Securities' 2027 Corporate and Investment Banking Full-Time Analyst Program. Analysts can expect a fast-paced, demanding work environment that offers the opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Analysts work in small deal teams on a wide range of transactions. From initial client contact through closing a transaction, our analysts are an integral part of the transaction process; researching, valuing, marketing, and structuring transactions. The Analyst Training Program, which begins in early July, provides a five-week introduction and orientation to the firm and its capabilities. The curriculum includes coursework in accounting, communication skills, debt and equity capital markets, Excel, financial analysis, modeling, and valuation.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
  • Series 79 and 63
  • 0-3 years of related experience
  • Earn a Bachelor's Degree no later than June 2027
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Strong academic performance

Responsibilities

  • Provides specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of marketing and execution activities.
  • Conducts research and on-going analysis.
  • Prepares supporting documentation.
  • Assists in due diligence efforts on transactions.
  • Works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer.
  • Assists in the analysis of clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and the identification of product-specific opportunities.
  • Assists in valuations of private and public companies.
  • Performs basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel.
  • Provides input to external client proposals and internal underwriting memos; assists in the preparation of client presentations based upon the above.
  • Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information.
