About The Position

The Epic Prelude and Cadence Analyst is responsible for the build, configuration, and testing of Epic Prelude and Cadence workflows. This role applies a solid understanding of patient access, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle processes to support scalable and compliant solutions. The Analyst will collaborate with senior analysts, patient access leadership, and technology teams to ensure Prelude and Cadence configurations contribute to operational excellence, efficiency, and a positive end-user and patient experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and documentation skills.
  • College degree in computer science, information science or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Training or Professional Licensing Certification in Epic Prelude and Cadence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Laboratory/Diagnostics industry.
  • Experience with Prelude and Cadence Applications.
  • Experience with healthcare data and analytics.
  • Multiple Epic Certifications.
  • Project management Agile or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the build and configuration of Prelude and Cadence functionalities, from workflows to system integrations, based on design specifications.
  • Assists in the design of system workflows and processes.
  • Conducts thorough testing of all build and configuration changes to ensure accuracy, stability, and performance.
  • Participates in project life-cycle management efforts, including planning and execution.
  • Utilizes process metrics to support performance improvements and develops associated documentation.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to help identify system improvements and enhancements.
  • Tests and validates changes for enhancements or regularly scheduled upgrades prior to promotion to production.
  • Generates and updates appropriate documentation as per policy and procedure.
  • Maintains current knowledge of technology by attending appropriate continuing education training.
  • Monitors operational KPIs (e.g., registration accuracy, wait times, patient throughput) and maintains change control documentation.
  • Participates in integrated, interdisciplinary committees and team meetings as assigned.
  • Logs, tracks, and resolves issues, escalating complex problems to senior analysts as needed.
  • Documents configuration and validation evidence to meet HIPAA, JCAHO, and other regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Provides effective support for system issues, including on-call support.
  • Other assignments as needed.
