This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Develop company-wide data analytics and dashboards by consulting with business units, programs, or major division/organizations to define requirements and then developing large data sets and pipelines for use by business units, corporate, and functional areas. Provide analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources in support of business decisions. Uses standard or ad hoc queries or reports to extract data from disparate databases or data sources. Analyzes data to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies. Consults with users or decision-makers to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards. Collaborates with development teams to design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval. As part of a hardworking team of specialists Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst-Business Intelligence II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency as it relates to Manufacturing Operations for the Lunar Vehicles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and help shape our strategic direction. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in data sciences and analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science & analytics or a related field.
  • Proven experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create insightful dashboards.
  • Utilize programming languages such as SQL for data analysis and modeling.
  • Maintain and improve data infrastructure to support ongoing data analysis and reporting requests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Manufacturing Operations a plus.
  • Master’s degree in data sciences and analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Python and database management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and implement data solutions that support predictive leading indicators/KPIs.
  • Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure business systems data is efficient and reliable.
  • Work with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI to create insightful dashboards.
  • Utilize programming languages such as SQL for data analysis and modeling.
  • Maintain and improve data infrastructure to support ongoing analytics efforts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve data processes and analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data science within the organization.
