About The Position

Richter Consulting, Inc. (“RCI”) is a member of the Richter Group, a full-service business advisory firm, founded in 1926. RCI serves its clients with a multidisciplinary group of 6 partners and ~25 professionals. We work with US-based leverage lenders, private equity firms, and major banks regarding their portfolio companies/investments. Our clients call upon our experienced professionals to provide our expertise in Business Assessment, Cashflow Forecasting, Financial Reorganization/Profitability Improvement, Crisis Management, Transaction Advisory and Asset-Based Lending Diligence, among other services. The Analyst/Associate will work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals on a variety of stimulating engagements (typically 5-6 weeks). Deal teams of 3-4 professionals deliver consulting services involving companies in numerous industries (Consumer Products, Pharma, Distribution, Services, Manufacturing, etc.) experiencing challenges arising from over-leverage, liquidity problems, under-performance, macroeconomic events, or other business transitional/operating issues.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of relevant experience (CPA , FP&A, CFA)
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment
  • Desire to develop new skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and organizational skills
  • A positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Alteryx or Power Query/Pivot proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in Business Assessment, Cashflow Forecasting, Financial Reorganization/Profitability Improvement, Crisis Management, Transaction Advisory and Asset-Based Lending Diligence.
  • Deliver consulting services involving companies in numerous industries experiencing challenges arising from over-leverage, liquidity problems, under-performance, macroeconomic events, or other business transitional/operating issues.
  • Incorporate cash flow/liquidity into 3-statement financial modeling.
  • Gain insight into operational and corporate strategies, revenue drivers, profitability improvement, cost saving initiatives, KPI analysis, transaction diligence.
  • Apply accounting/finance fundamentals to real-life situations.
  • Contribute to customized work products with tangible results and actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in diverse engagements, allowing for exposure to a variety of companies, industries, competitive landscapes, etc.
  • Develop soft and technical skills.
  • Work directly with experienced Partners.
  • Contribute to a team committed to investing in your development.
