Position Overview: StepStone Private Wealth Solutions is seeking an Analyst/Associate with excellent quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills to support the product management efforts of financial platforms globally as they consider the suite of funds under management. The team oversees and manages data across five portfolio strategies and controls the information being shared externally. The Analyst/Associate’s primary role is to draft high-quality, consistent responses, fund materials, and other analyses in response to requests from current and prospective platforms. The Analyst/Associate will work closely with the existing members of the product management team as they learn the process and expectations with the opportunity to begin collaborating with and have exposure to all levels across the firm. The candidate is expected to show a willingness to learn the underlying products and the comparable product landscape to support these efforts appropriately. The person should also have a basic understanding and interest in the private markets investment space (specifically, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and private debt), strong interpersonal skills and project management skills. The candidate should be highly analytical and naturally curious to understand the underlying data. Strong written communication, organization, attention to detail and relationship building skills will be necessary to succeed in this role.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree / higher education qualification in finance, business, data science, or liberal arts.

  • Demonstrated interest in financial technology, automation, and AI-enabled workflow optimization.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and understanding regulatory boundaries with sharing information.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and company growth.
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with related financial services (private equity, investment banking, asset management, investor relations and/or consulting) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing written responses to inquiries from prospective platforms and existing clients, including writing and editing content, working with cross-functional teams to obtain the necessary information, and ensuring that the final product is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Critically assess the accuracy and relevance of content provided by cross-functional team members in response to DDQs/RFPs.
  • Contribute to the refinement and implementation of internal AI initiatives designed to pre-populate and streamline questionnaire responses
  • Manage and maintain the private wealth central database of responses to ensure content is kept up to date.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests initiated by platforms seeking deeper analysis of performance metrics, portfolio construction, or underlying investments.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, BD leadership, investment, legal, compliance, fund accounting, and portfolio analytics teams to synthesize insights across performance drivers, capital deployment dynamics, fundraising trends, portfolio evolution, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain a high standard of data integrity and presentation quality across all portfolio-related deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of portfolio narratives and reusable content for quarterly updates and platform communications.
  • Assist with various projects to streamline internal processes.
  • Strong ability to focus on the task at hand with an attention of the final deadline associated with the project or deliverable.
