About The Position

The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Universal Assistant serves as the primary, daily point of contact between clients (Wealth Management, Trust, Banking, or Investment) and U.S. Bank. This role involves handling day-to-day client interactions, transactions, and problem resolution within established guidelines, escalating complex issues to the Private Wealth Management Advisor or relevant specialist. The position requires proactive identification of potential problems, compliance issues, or fraud to ensure client satisfaction and relationship growth. Incumbents develop a working knowledge of their assigned area and accounts through consistent client interaction and adherence to standard departmental procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience, OR Five or more years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
  • Sufficient understanding of departmental procedures and systems to operate with very limited supervision

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary, daily contact between Wealth Management, Trust, Banking, or Investment clients and U.S. Bank.
  • Handle day-to-day client calls and transactions.
  • Resolve client issues, escalating items beyond specified authority to the assigned Private Wealth Management Advisor or respective specialist.
  • Proactively identify potential problems, compliance issues, or fraud to maximize client satisfaction and encourage expansion of the relationship.
  • Develop a working knowledge of assigned area and accounts through frequent client contact and execution of standard departmental procedures.
