About The Position
Analyst – Asset Based Finance Job Responsibilities: Work directly with PM to evaluate new opportunities for asset-based finance, asset based lending and corporate lending transactions Financial and cash flow modeling of collateral from a broad spectrum of industries for suitability for asset-oriented facilities. Prepare internal documentation to evaluate new opportunities, including pre-screens and final approval documentation. Supporting investment team members by gathering data on potential investment opportunities and developing recommendations Collaborate with team members to develop, enhance and manage investment cash flow models that support scenario analysis and return objectives across a diverse and evolving set of asset classes Drafting sections of investment memos and compiling reporting materials under supervision Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio; helping track portfolio performance metrics and gathering data on trends for team review Creating models for internal deal analysis and tracking Supporting due diligence processes by collecting and organizing relevant information Supporting deal execution processes and post-closing workstreams The position is well‑suited for candidates who excel in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial credit environments and enjoy managing multiple workflows with high accountability Qualifications: 3+ years direct experience in corporate credit, asset based lending or asset based finance Familiarity with asset-based finance, asset based lending across broad industries, including specific sector risks and nuances. Cash Flow modeling and Financial modeling skills Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Portfolio Management Prioritization
