About The Position

Huntington’s Analyst, Securitized Products Capital Markets is responsible for supporting the origination and execution of capital markets securitization transactions (Public, 144a (Rule 144A) and 4(a)(2) (Section 4(a)(2))). This early career role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction types, with a focus on complex structuring and capital raising solutions. Analysts work closely with junior and senior professionals to conduct financial analysis, develop client materials, and support all phases of transaction execution. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to client engagements and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Experience working in securitization, including one or more of: ABS (Asset-Backed Securities) (equipment, railcar, aviation, WBS (Whole Business Securitization), digital infrastructure, CLNs (Credit-Linked Notes)), RMBS (Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities) (Non-QM (Non-Qualified Mortgage), HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit)/HEL (Home Equity Loan)/HEI (Home Equity Investment), investor mortgages, SFR (Single-Family Rental), RTL (Residential Transition Loan)), CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations) (middle-market)
  • Experience working with Bloomberg, Intex, CAS (Collateral Analysis System) (or other collateral analytics software); VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)/other programming exposure a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of capital markets securitization transactions from initial pitch through closing.
  • Prepare client-facing materials including pitch books, offering memoranda, financial models, and timely market analyses.
  • Provide support for lead originators in Securitized Products Capital Markets on client engagements
  • Support rating agency process and coordinate with internal teams to ensure transaction integrity.
  • Analyze structural and pricing data of clients and prospects, including public and private comparable issuances.
  • Conduct enhancement analyses and market research to support structuring recommendations.
  • Track the market daily and collaborate with team on relevance of current news and potential implications/updates for clients and prospects.
  • Maintain and update transaction comparables and industry benchmarks.
  • Participate in meetings with current and prospective clients, supporting presentation delivery and strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate with banking and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Assist in preparing materials tailored to sponsor and specialty group needs.
  • Maintain internal CRM systems, closing checklists, and quarterly reporting.
