About The Position

Mile Marker, an omni-channel media agency built for the ambitions of growth marketers, is seeking an Analyst, Analytics to join our growing Analytics Center of Excellence. This role serves as the foundation of our analytics practice—transforming data into insight, ensuring precision in every report, and laying the groundwork for our measurement excellence. You’ll be hands-on with the data that powers our clients’ marketing success, learning how metrics, media, and strategy intersect to drive performance. The Analyst is ideal for someone early in their career who’s curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about understanding how marketing decisions are made through data. You’ll develop technical fluency, analytical discipline, and the professional confidence to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative team. We’re looking for an early-career analytics professional who thrives on curiosity, accuracy, and learning by doing. As an Analyst, you’ll work closely with the analytics leadership team to build dashboards, validate campaign data, and ensure every report we deliver is both reliable and meaningful. This isn’t just about pulling numbers—it’s about understanding what they represent. You’ll get hands-on experience with key media platforms and analytics tools, learning to connect marketing performance with business outcomes. Along the way, you’ll contribute to the consistency and integrity of our analytics workflows and develop a foundation that will prepare you for broader analytical and client-facing responsibilities as you grow within the agency.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of analytics or media experience; relevant internships or coursework welcome.
  • Familiarity with core media platforms (GA4, GTM, ad platforms) and visualization tools (Looker/Tableau).
  • Comfort with spreadsheets (lookup functions, pivot tables) and introductory SQL or data querying concepts.
  • Understanding of foundational performance KPIs (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and attribution basics (last-click, time-decay).
  • Demonstrates curiosity, attention to detail, and eagerness to master tools and methodologies.
  • Practices clear communication and builds organizational discipline.
  • Understands the relationship between marketing metrics and client business goals.
  • Begins to connect analytical outcomes to strategic decisions.
  • GA4/ad-platform basics, spreadsheet proficiency, foundational visualization and QA skills.
  • Commitment to precision, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimal client interaction; primarily supports internal deliverables with growing exposure to client-facing analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain recurring dashboards and automated reports using Google Data Studio.
  • Manage and QA data within our codeless data infrastructure platform, Funnel.io.
  • Pull, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, including GA4, Ads Manager, DV360, and social APIs.
  • Maintain data hygiene through UTM governance, taxonomy checks, and QA documentation.
  • Utilizes AI to enhance the analytics practice through data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and methodology development.
  • Assist in pre- and post-campaign analysis, cohort segmentation, and test implementation.
  • Identify performance drivers and optimization opportunities under senior guidance.
  • Ensure precision in all datasets, validating accuracy before client reporting.
  • Support Managers, Supervisors, and Associate Directors to translate data findings into actionable insights.
  • Aid in preparation of client-facing deliverables with clear, accurate visualizations.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain data consistency and alignment.
  • Adopt an apprentice mindset—eager to learn, take feedback, and develop technical mastery.
  • Build professional communication and time management skills through collaboration and ownership.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning across the analytics team.
