Analog IC Design Engineer | INT TRX
About The Position
Designers bring semiconductors to life by defining, developing, and/or modifying analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry. They collaborate with other designers and the broader R&D and demand creation teams to align on approaches and parameters for a given device, creating block level specifications for the designs. They guide designs through concept, schematic implementation, supervising layout, and tape out to the fab. Additionally, they support silicon validation, testing, qualification for reliability, and the ramp to mass production. Designers also conduct tests and analyze data to ensure chosen methods are optimal for defined specifications and reliability requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and/or modify analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry
- Work with other designers and R&D and demand creation teams to align on approaches and parameters for a given device
- Create block level specifications for designs
- Take designs through the concept, implementation in schematic and supervising layout, followed by tape out to the fab
- Support silicon validation, test, qualification for reliability, and ramp to mass production
- Conduct tests and analyze data to ensure chosen methods are optimal for defined specifications and reliability requirements
