  • Product and circuit robustness demonstration and documentation
  • Computer simulations, conventional analysis, and standard testing methodologies
  • Test plan writing and analysis
  • Design testing and evaluation of test results
  • Hardware design reviews
  • Product documentation, bills of material, project notebooks, and instruction manuals preparation and maintenance
  • Product cost estimates, basic labor estimates, and project plans
  • Coordination of engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing
  • Improvements of company research and development initiatives
  • Participation in industry meetings, seminars, and conferences

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • Manage hardware projects of moderate complexity.
  • Design, implement, document, and develop the specifications for all hardware used in product development.
  • Demonstrate and document product and circuit robustness using computer simulations, conventional analysis, and standard testing methodologies.
  • Write and analyze test plans, conduct design tests, and evaluate test results.
  • Conduct hardware design reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain product documentation, bills of material, project notebooks and instructions manuals.
  • Provide product cost estimates, basic labor estimates, and project plans.
  • Coordinate engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing.
  • Undertake improvements of company research and development initiatives.
  • Participate in industry meetings, seminars, and conferences to keep technical proficiency sharp.
