About The Position

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. The candidate will perform detailed circuit design for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits that include simulation, layout, and verification. Specifically, these circuits include op-amps, voltage/current references, linear and switching regulators, charge pumps and power control circuits. Understands and reinforces design review, best practice, and other product line design processes. Performs research and develops new design techniques for future technologies.

Requirements

  • Pursuing MS or PhD Degree
  • Successfully completed coursework in analog and digital circuit design
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter and team player

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the mentor to architect/define/specify solutions.
  • Responsible for design and simulation per defined product functionalities and specifications.
  • Characterize, verify and debug the design through lab measurements.
  • Understands and reinforces design review, best practice, and other product line design processes.
  • Delivers design release notes, documentation for product characterization.
