About The Position

Infineon Technologies is seeking graduates for their Graduate Programs or first full-time roles to join their team and shape the future. This role focuses on designing and validating analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for radiation-hardened power management applications. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting designs, participating in verification, and supporting lab validation. Infineon is a global leader in semiconductor solutions for power systems and IoT, enabling innovations for green energy, clean mobility, and smart IoT.

Requirements

  • Graduated Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field preferred
  • Strong foundational understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles and semiconductor device fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence design tools (e.g., Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE) for schematic capture and simulation
  • Familiarity with simulation-based verification methodologies for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a self-driven, collaborative, and team-oriented working approach
  • US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

  • Some exposure to backend semiconductor processing or radiation-hardened design environments is preferred
  • Relevant internship, co-op, or research experience of 1+ years with subject-specific exposure to analog IC design preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for radiation-hardened (RadHard) power management applications
  • Partner with physical design engineers to ensure optimal block layout and RadHard performance compliance
  • Oversee and contribute to the behavioral modeling of analog/mixed-signal IP blocks across process corners
  • Document and review critical aspects of design architecture, implementation strategies, and testing methodologies
  • Participate in top-level simulation-based verification of integrated circuits (ICs) within a structured design flow
  • Assist lab and test engineers in the validation and characterization of mixed-signal IP in a hardware environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent with system-level performance and reliability targets
