About The Position

This is a 3-month internship project focused on data converter circuit design for future products. The intern will gain experience with the tools, skills, insights, and tradeoffs essential for successful integrated circuit design within a collaborative engineering environment that values teamwork, mentoring, enthusiasm, and design excellence. The Keysight Labs team specializes in developing and publishing world-leading data converters and other mixed-signal integrated circuits that power Keysight's electronic test and measurement products.

Requirements

Enrolled in a MS or PhD EE program.
Strong skills in transistor-level design of mixed signal CMOS and/or BiCMOS circuits.
Familiar with schematic entry / layout / simulation tool flow (preferably Cadence).
Familiar with the use of one or more software scripting tools to support design, such as Bash, Python, PERL, Awk or SKILL.
Right to work in the US is required.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2027. Applicants who have graduated before September 2027 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-speed designs (> 1 GHz).
Experience in data converter calibration and analysis.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design and simulation of data converter circuits at the block or circuit level.
Conduct circuit simulation, electromagnetic simulation, and/or high-level custom software simulation.
