About The Position

The Amusement Manager is a technical expert responsible for keeping games in ideal playing conditions. This role provides leadership to Game Technicians, positively impacts the business, and ensures excellent guest service. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced, multi-faceted restaurant/entertainment scene, can diagnose and repair amusement arcade and virtual reality games, and possesses a friendly, engaging management style. The role requires the ability to handle busy periods, work long hours (average 50-hour work weeks), and communicate effectively to inspire fun and elevate team performance.

Requirements

21+ years of age
3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment
Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all job responsibilities
Strong business acumen
Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Game Technicians, responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining the best team possible.
Create a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for all guests and staff.
Keep arcade equipment maintained and in proper working order.
Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs.
Monitor and perform daily store maintenance as instructed.
Strive for 100% game playability and repair games on the fly.
