Amusement Manager
About The Position
The Amusement Manager is a technical expert responsible for maintaining games in "ideal playing conditions" and providing leadership to Game Technicians. This role requires a friendly, engaging management style, the ability to diagnose and repair amusement arcade and virtual reality games, and the capacity to handle fast-paced, high-volume environments. The manager is expected to positively impact the business, provide excellent guest service, and inspire fun among team members and guests. The position involves working in a multi-faceted Restaurant/Entertainment scene and thriving on improving guest experiences and team performance.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment
- Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
- Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all job responsibilities
- Strong business acumen
- The ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Providing leadership to our Game Technicians
- Positively impacting the business and providing excellent guest service
- Diagnose and repair the operations of amusement arcade games and virtual reality games
- Communicate with the team members and guests in a way that inspires FUN!
- Improving someone's experience or encouraging your team to elevate their performance
- Hiring, training, developing, and retaining the best team possible
- Create a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for all D&B Guests and staff
- Keep arcade equipment maintained and in proper working order
- Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs
- Monitor and perform daily store maintenance as instructed
- Strive for 100% "game playability" and repair games on the fly
