The Aftermarket Apprentice Program (AAP) is designed to offer selected individuals the chance to gain essential skills for supporting customers post-product delivery. This program combines practical work experience, on-the-job training, and formal classroom instruction, ultimately aiming to develop skilled employees for G&W. The program is overseen by an AAP Oversight Committee, comprising various G&W leadership roles, responsible for program administration, applicant selection, setting performance standards, determining training needs, and evaluating apprentice progress. The program lasts for one year, with a significant portion dedicated to on-the-job training in work cells, supplemented by training, assisting field service teams, product support specialists, and the RGA team. Upon completion, apprentices will return to their original work cells and be available for AMS field service on-call duties.
