About The Position

As an AMO Technician – Mechanic I, you will support complaint investigation and resolution for electro-mechanical equipment. You will contribute to safe and efficient operations by diagnosing faults, following established maintenance procedures, and using diagnostic tools to ensure effective corrective actions. You will build your expertise by analyzing equipment complaints, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and supporting maintenance activities. You will collaborate with teams to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality operations while minimizing recurring issues.

Requirements

  • A Technical diploma OR a minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, or electronics).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, and hydraulic systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance procedures.
  • Possess basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing instruments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as A/C, Electrical Maintenance, or Stationary Engineer are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Investigating and resolving equipment-related complaints in accordance with maintenance procedures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
  • Supporting maintenance activities while adhering to formal procedures and safety practices.
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and electro-mechanical systems to identify root causes.
  • Using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and hi-pot testers.
  • Supporting electrical maintenance activities, including 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V systems.
  • Assisting in inspection and repair of equipment to ensure operational reliability and complaint closure.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of complaints, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Utilizing basic computer systems for reporting and tracking maintenance activities.
