We are seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Technician I to operate, monitor, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems supporting high-volume food production. This role involves performing maintenance on high-pressure boilers, air compressors, and air handlers, as well as servicing HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime and must be able to follow and enforce IIAR, OSHA, and plant safety procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently, report to a supervisor, and possess a strong background in low voltage and 480-volt electric. A key responsibility is recognizing when the refrigeration system is out of parameters and taking corrective action to fix the issue.
