This role involves processing alerts and/or fraud cases to identify regulatory and policy violations related to fraud, AML, and Sanctions/ABAC financial crime. The officer will ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions and activities. The position requires prioritizing and managing workload to meet service level requirements, understanding and applying operating policies and procedures, and adhering to internal policies and industry regulations. Escalating non-standard or high-risk activities, reporting risk issues or process gaps, and identifying opportunities for business issue resolution are key aspects of the role. The officer will review banking transactions against thresholds and guidelines, forward unusual transactions for further review, and perform research activities. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, support process improvement initiatives, and enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency. A strong understanding of the Bank Code of Conduct is essential.
