This Equipment Engineer role sits at the intersection of factory operations and advanced automation — working directly with AMHS systems, autonomous mobile platforms (AMRs), and unique robotic solutions that keep our fab running. Responsibilities

  • Evaluating, selecting, and installing equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for automating the operational flow of company products
  • Collaborating with Smart Manufacturing & Automation domain to align on sustainable, global solutions for legacy operations
  • Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
  • Designing and implementing unique solutions to tackle problems that don't have a predefined path to resolution
  • Studying equipment performance and reliability
  • Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
  • Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
  • Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
