About The Position
Work with the Equipment Engineering team to install, configure, and maintain various semiconductor tools. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role may include additional duties or assignments designated by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in technical writing and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance (MTBPM), tool fingerprinting, and continuous improvement projects (CIPs) to meet tool availability goals.
- Create and modify procedures and preventative maintenance specifications to increase tool availability and enhance training procedures.
- Partner with process engineering and production staff to improve fab quality metrics, reduce scrap and rework, and lower costs.
- Create detailed tool configuration documentation and tool acceptance specifications.
- Assist with tool selection for capacity increases or process development and transfer.
- Present technical data and project updates to peers and management.
