About The Position

ACRS seeks a full-time AMH - Administrator for Integrated Behavioral Health Services in our Integrated Behavioral Health Services department who provides clinical oversight, supervision, leadership, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance for all services under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in order to provide high quality services and produce the best possible outcomes for ACRS clients and the community. The Administrator serves as a member of the Executive Team, helping to set the strategic direction of IBHS. Ensures the work of IBHS department reflect the organization’s mission and values including Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Belonging (EIDB).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health field and a Mental Health Professional standing with at least seven (7) years of experience in mental health services
  • Must have an active license as a Mental Health Professional preferrably in Washington State
  • Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices.
  • Demonstrates a recovery-oriented framework and knowledge of trauma-informed care.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, training, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective ability to navigate a computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, e-mail, and spreadsheet data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including occasionally evenings and weekends if needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation. If using a personal or agency vehicle to fulfill job duties, must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under ACRS’s auto policy. If using personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 5 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Experience working in a CCBHC or FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) setting strongly preferred
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental health conditions, including familiarity with behavioral health needs of Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities.
  • Fluency in one or more Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander language preferred.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, including communicating change, engaging stakeholders, and supporting successful transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees clinical and administrative operations of the IBHS department to ensure effective, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. Ensures program compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, licensing requirements, contracts, agency policies and procedures, and all other regulations, requirements, and standards as required. Responsible for overseeing financial activities and managing department budget, including setting financial goals, monitoring expenses, and reporting financial status.
  • Builds and maintains workflows that support accurate clinical documentation, meet reporting requirements and support data driven clinical decision-making based in evidence-based practices and client quality outcome metrics. Monitors program performance and client outcomes, identifies and works to mitigate client risk and uses data to inform continuous quality improvement efforts. Leads and supports implementation of program and organizational changes to maintain alignment with regulatory, operational, and strategic priorities.
  • Provides leadership and supervision to the Medical Director, Director of Children’s Mental Health, Director of Recovery Services, and Clinical Director of Adult Mental Health to support effective service delivery and adherence to ethical and professional standards of practice. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining qualified staff to meet IBHS program goals and contractual expectations. Supports employee engagement, retention, and professional growth through coaching, training, and performance management practices aligned with agency standards. Ensures timely review and approval of staff timesheets to maintain accurate payroll-related records in accordance with agency procedures.
  • Leads the clinical direction for the agency, through integration of CCBHC community needs assessment, promotion of behavioral health best practices and working with clinical leaders to address areas of improvement and/or service gaps across the continuum of services at ACRS. Cultivates thorough understanding of Washington’s CCBHC model and develops relationships with other CCBHCs regionally. Develops and maintains relationships with community partners that strengthen areas of practice and work to ensure community needs are met.

  • Pay range is between $140,500 to $186,100 annually. Can increase based on experience.
