AmeriCorps Member - Outreach & Inventory
About The Position
This role is an AmeriCorps Member placement hosted at City Relief and sponsored by St. Paul’s CDC. It is distinct from City Relief staff employment, an internship, or a traditional volunteer opportunity. AmeriCorps program eligibility, stipend, education award, and enrollment requirements are administered through St. Paul’s CDC. The service term is from September 2026 to June 2027, with service at NJ outreach locations. The role requires flexibility in hours, typically Tuesday to Saturday, with outreach 2-3 days a week, and flexible scheduling such as 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.
Requirements
- Relational, organized, adaptable.
- Comfortable serving in both administrative and hands-on outdoor outreach settings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfort learning digital tools.
- Commitment to serving people with dignity and compassion.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are welcomed but not required unless otherwise specified by the AmeriCorps program.
