About The Position

Service Repair is a cornerstone of Cisco’s Global Supply Chain, ensuring the availability of critical components for customer RMAs. Service repair is the only option for parts that Cisco no longer manufactures (EOL). It is also a vital driver of cost-efficiency for active product lines. In our 72-person organization, we foster a collaborative environment across specialized functions—including New Repair Product Introduction (RPI), Repair Data Analytics, Quality, Strategy, and Operations which provides team members with clear pathways for professional growth and cross-functional rotation. As the Americas Service Repair Vendor Manager (RSM), you will serve as the primary strategic lead for one or more repair sites. You will partner closely with your technical lead, Service Planning, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure your repair partner(s) exceed performance metrics and meet quarterly build plan targets. Your role is pivotal in balancing operational excellence with strategic cost management, ensuring that Cisco’s repair ecosystem remains agile, scalable, and highly responsive to Service planning needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ year as a Vendor manager of a partner in supply chain (Manufacturing, Logistics, or Repair) or 5+ years as a manager in a repair operation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (preferably in business or engineering)
  • Must have professional working proficiency in Spanish to daily coordinate with international vendors and local clients.
  • Demonstrated project management experience using standard PMP practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quarterly business reviews (QBR) with the Repair partner and key stakeholders
  • Manage the CRM to the scorecard metrics working with the repair partners, planner and key stakeholder's weekly, monthly and quarterly.
  • Work with the partner on pricing for new repair product introductions (RPI) as well as pricing changes.
  • Manage the partner build plan vs actual delivery, managing issues on a daily basis to improve output on time.
  • Continuous improvement of repair processes and operational processes with the vendor to improve output on time.
