Denver Parks & Recreation Department has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician for our Citywide Parks Amenities team. This position will be responsible for a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair of parks sport courts, fencing, and amenities. This individual will have the opportunity to work mostly independently among a small, specialized team, working on parks amenities and keeping the public safe in the community. This position emphasizes knowledge of repairs, fabrication, maintenance, and cost repair analysis with all sport courts and fencing in the Denver Parks system. Types of courts include outdoor and indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, futsal courts, pickle ball courts, horseshoe pits, handball courts, and various other court structures in the parks system. This position will also focus on fencing, chain-link, wood picket, split rail, farm-fence, aluminum/rod iron panel and various other protective barriers within the parks system.
