About The Position
We are seeking an Amenities Attendant to join our Recreation team at Pocono Mountain Villas. This position is responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for guests using the resort's tubing hill and surrounding recreation areas. The Tube Hill Attendant will monitor activities, enforce safety guidelines, assist guests, and help maintain the cleanliness and operation of the attraction while delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Must be flexible to work holidays, evenings and weekends
- Must have ability to read written instructions and write legibly
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Clear speaking voice
Responsibilities
- Welcome, direct, and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Monitor the tubing hill and surrounding recreation areas to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Explain attraction rules and safety procedures prior to guest participation.
- Enforce all safety guidelines and resort policies while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Perform daily inspections of the tubing hill, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain and properly store equipment, including tubes, radios, and other assigned materials.
- Complete opening, operational, and closing procedures for the attraction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Respond calmly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, or incidents.
- Assist with crowd management and monitor guest behavior to ensure safe participation.
- Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, activities, and local attractions to assist guests.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA standards, and departmental procedures.
- Assist with other Recreation Department activities and special events as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
