About The Position

This position will support the AMCAP area in a variety of functions including but not limited to deshrouding, delayering and ergo pal. The schedule for this position is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4am to 4pm. Internal candidates who bid on this position understand that they are accepting the pay rates, schedule, and department. If the most senior candidate bids, they will be moved to this position. Refusing a job bid once awarded is not permitted. Management reserves the right to adjust accountabilities and schedules to satisfy business needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and possess basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
• Must work in a safe manner adhering to all company safety guidelines
• Must be able to operate and use jack in a safe manner so as not to endanger self or coworkers
• Must be able to reach, lift and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 60 lbs.
• Must pass AMCAP test.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and removes shrink wrap, slip-sheets and other packing materials from pallets
• Removes layers from pallets onto conveyor system
• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary
• Assist in building pallets directed through the automation system
