About The Position

This RN supports the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) within the Behavioral Health Pavilion and floats to the BHP Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics as needed during low census. The role emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention while helping patients and families move safely and effectively through their episode of care. The RN delegates, oversees, and provides quality, safe, developmentally appropriate patient care using a Family Centered approach.

The position is 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is a day-shift role with no weekends and no major holidays (six total). Starting pay is $34.82 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited school.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Must successfully complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of the start date.
• Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including frequent and continuous physical and cognitive activities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assess individualized patient needs and plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensure clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Work closely with providers and other team members to support smooth clinic flow, address patient and parent concerns, and attain positive patient and family outcomes.
• Document according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, representing staff at relevant meetings, and reporting important information and updates back to staff.
• Float to BHP Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics as needed during low census.
