About The Position

This is a contingent role requiring a minimum of 16 hours per month. The position emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention, assisting patients and families through their episode of care. The role involves delegating, overseeing, and providing quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school, required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of pediatric clinical experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
• Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in the “workplace community” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
