About The Position
Community Health Network is hiring an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Center for Advanced Heart Care team at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory works as a member of the physician practice team and performs phone triage, appointment scheduling, nurse protocols, patient education, prescription refills, completion of FMLA/STD paperwork, and other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-, ACEN-, or CCNE-accredited nursing program, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- At least one year of nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience in cardiology is preferred.
- Previous medical office or outpatient experience is preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct phone triage.
- Schedule appointments.
- Carry out nurse protocols.
- Provide patient education.
- Process prescription refills.
- Complete FMLA/STD paperwork.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
