About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Heart Care department at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The unit is a 48-bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit specializing in adult cardiac disease management. It is Joint Commission Certified in Advanced Heart Failure Care and treats conditions including Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, CAD, ACS, STEMI, and Pulmonary Hypertension. The role involves managing procedural care for Pacemaker/Defibrillator placements and post-catheterization coronary interventions, as well as providing pre-surgical care for VAD, CABG, and heart transplants, and treatment for hypertensive crises.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
