About The Position

Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician – Part Time, 16 Hours, Day Shift. Great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This position supports patients and providers across Trinity Health Medical Group practices located throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support an anticoagulation clinic in Grand Rapids, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves triaging phone calls on a multi-line system, processing patient referrals, scheduling patient appointments and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. The technician may also be called upon to support additional ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care across services.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Completion of ASHP/ACPE pharmacy technician training program
  • Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure (Full license)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification
  • Two years of pharmacy work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician certification program
  • Two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications
