About The Position
As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician, you assist pharmacists in completing applications, gathering patient information, and maintaining patient records. You work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and complete work for any ProMedica Pharmacy Medication Management site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy if working in Ohio.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Michigan Board of Pharmacy if working in Michigan.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician; either the PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam is permitted.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Experience as a pharmacy technician in an acute care hospital or ambulatory care.
