This is a Full-Time Registration Float position, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance, with the candidate needing to pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The position involves greeting and registering patients, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing medical charts. The individual will provide excellent customer service, obtain accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information, screen patient data for insurance eligibility and pre-certification, and assist self-pay patients with financial assistance referrals. The role also involves maintaining open communication with various departments and clinical staff, and assisting in the shadowing/precepting of new employees.
