Ambulatory Clinical Tech Infusion Center PRN
About The Position
This position requires at least one 8-hour shift per week, with the potential to work up to part-time hours when needed and available. Initial training will require a minimum of part-time hours for the first 4-8 weeks. The practice operates two clinic locations, Blodgett and East Beltline, offering multiple non-oncology infusions and injections. Care is provided by nurses with the assistance of nurse technicians in a welcoming atmosphere that encourages strong teamwork. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, offering opportunities for learning and specialization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
Responsibilities
- Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
- Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies.
- Communicate observations to members of the health care team.
