About The Position

This location houses Cardiovascular providers. The APPs and physicians work out of this office, and work within the hospital space to care for in-patients. The physicians perform procedures in the catheterization lab. This office has a welcoming atmosphere where strong teamwork is encouraged. All are expected to work at the top of their scope of practice. The team and providers work together to provide exceptional care for our patients. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
• EPIC In basket work.
• Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
• Answering phones.
