About The Position

Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport. Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action. Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehend the severity of the injury. Monitor patient condition and perform data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to primary Registered Nurse (RN). Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferred.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
